This online support group is a peer-led community and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The group is intended for peer support with people who have experienced similar challenges and may not be trained medical professionals.
Any advice or guidance offered is based on personal experience and should not be considered a replacement for medical advice. It is always recommended to further your research and trial and error in regards to what tools work for you if any are shared.
Trolls and inappropriate contact can be a real issue in online communities. I do my best to remove them as soon as it is spotted.
Please be aware that:
- Any form of harassment, inappropriate contact, or solicitation is prohibited and taken seriously.
- Please be careful about sharing personal contact information or engaging in private communication outside of the group. You know, general internet safety stuff...
- Trolling, spamming, or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated.
- If you experience any inappropriate contact or behaviour, please report it to the group admin.
- The sessions are recorded for general safety of everyone. However, they are not shared on any platform and will not be accessed unless there is an issue where it is needed for reference.
- The group is for diagnosed, self diagnosed and those seeking diagnosis. Please keep this in mind when interacting. Everyone's journey looks different.
By participating in this online support group, you agree to respect the boundaries and privacy of fellow members and to adhere to these guidelines.
